Forest Solid Footrest

Where your feet rest decides how the rest of you sits, and a footrest is the quiet fix for the gap under a desk that's set for your screen, not your legs. The Forest lifts your feet to where your knees and hips want them, in solid wood you'd choose to keep in sight rather than hide. Behind it sits a brand built by a physiotherapist, which is why support, not just a block of wood, is the point.

• A 13cm rise fills the gap between the floor and your feet when the desk sits too high, so your knees settle near a right angle and your thighs stop carrying the weight your feet should.
• A 45 by 32cm platform gives both feet a full place to land, room to shift and reshuffle through the day rather than balancing on an edge.
• A choice of wood stains, cherry, mahogany, and maple, lets the footrest match the desk above it, so the thing under your feet looks chosen rather than borrowed.
• Solid wood construction holds its shape and its finish under daily use, the kind of build that stays put and stays looking right.
• A custom-height option opens the door when the standard 13cm isn't your number, so you request a quote and the rise gets matched to your desk and your legs rather than the average.

Is the platform big enough for both feet?

At 45cm wide and 32cm deep, it holds both feet with room to shift position through the day, rather than forcing them onto a narrow ledge. Footrests work best when you can move on them, and there's space here to do that.

Which stain should I pick?

Cherry runs warm and reddish, mahogany deeper and darker, maple lighter and paler, so the choice comes down to matching the desk or floor it sits near. Pick the one closest to the wood already in your setup and it reads as part of the room.

Is it stable, or will it slide when I push on it?

It's solid wood with a wide base, built to sit where you put it under load. Worth confirming the surface it lands on, since a footrest holds best on carpet or a firm floor rather than a slick polished one.

How do I order a custom height?

You request a quote rather than buying off the shelf, and the team comes back to talk through the height you need. It's the route to take when your desk or your leg length puts your ideal rest somewhere other than 13cm.
