And the answer was obvious. You don't need to be an Ergotherapy client. If your company is replacing its seating, or you have unused office chairs taking up space, let us know. We'll collect them from your premises at no cost.

Our team inspects every donated chair to make sure it's safe, functional, and comfortable enough to make a real difference.

We match donated chairs to schools, non-profits, and community organisations across South Africa. We don't just drop them off, we deliver them, set them up, and make sure they're in the right hands.

We built a company around the belief that what you sit on matters, that a good chair changes the way you work, the way you feel at the end of the day, and the way your body holds up over years of sitting. We sell that belief to professionals, to companies, to gamers, to anyone who spends their day seated.
But that belief doesn't stop at people who can afford our chairs. A child sitting at a school desk for 6 hours a day deserves the same consideration as an executive sitting at a corporate desk for 8. The stakes are different. The principle is the same. What you sit on shapes how you show up.
CHAIRity exists because we couldn't build a company that cares about comfort and ignore the places where comfort is most absent.
