Gary spent years treating the same complaint, patient after patient, lower back pain from sitting in chairs designed by furniture companies that had never studied a spine.

He could keep prescribing stretches for a problem that came back every Monday, or design the thing that would stop it from happening. Gary left clinical practice to solve the problem he was tired of treating. He developed Ergotherapy's corporate training programme, spent years working with blue-chip companies on workplace ergonomics, and realised that the chairs those companies were buying were the root cause of the pain he'd been treating, so he designed his own. The GetOne and NetOne ranges are the direct result of decades of clinical knowledge applied to a product category that had never been held to a medical standard.
